Marketplace Terms
Terms for buying and selling through MotorCircle. The marketplace is being developed around real automotive knowledge from more than 35 years of combined hands-on trade experience, alongside practical digital tools.

These terms apply to users buying, selling or otherwise using MotorCircle marketplace features.
1. MotorCircle’s role
MotorCircle provides a platform that can help buyers and sellers discover one another, communicate and complete transactions. The marketplace is informed by our team’s practical automotive background, including more than 35 years of combined hands-on trade experience. Unless expressly stated otherwise, MotorCircle is not the owner or seller of third-party goods and is not a party to the contract between an independent buyer and seller.
2. Seller responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that listings are accurate, lawful and not misleading; that they have the right to sell the item; that descriptions, condition, compatibility, photographs and prices are accurate; and that any applicable consumer, tax, product-safety or business obligations are met.
3. Buyer responsibilities
Buyers are responsible for checking that an item is suitable for their intended use, reviewing listing information carefully and asking for clarification where needed before purchase.
4. Vehicle parts and compatibility
Vehicle and part information can be complex. Any compatibility guidance supplied through MotorCircle should be treated as assistance rather than a guarantee unless expressly confirmed by the seller or relevant manufacturer information. Buyers should verify part numbers, specifications and vehicle fitment before purchase where appropriate.
5. Fees and payments
MotorCircle may charge listing, membership, transaction or other service fees. Any applicable fee will be shown before the user commits to the relevant service. Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment providers subject to their own terms.
6. Prohibited listings
Users must not list stolen goods, counterfeit goods, unlawful items, misleading products, items they are not authorised to sell, or anything prohibited by applicable law or MotorCircle platform rules.
7. Communications and conduct
Users must communicate honestly and respectfully and must not use MotorCircle for fraud, harassment, spam, impersonation or attempts to misuse another person’s information.
8. Delivery, collection and risk
The buyer and seller are responsible for agreeing delivery, collection, carriage, insurance and transfer of risk unless MotorCircle expressly provides a separate service covering these matters.
9. Returns and disputes
Return, refund and cancellation rights can vary depending on whether the seller is a business or private seller and on the nature of the goods. Users remain responsible for complying with applicable law. MotorCircle may provide communication or dispute-support tools but does not guarantee a particular outcome.
10. Moderation
MotorCircle may remove or restrict listings, accounts or content where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent fraud or enforce platform rules.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to applicable law, MotorCircle is not responsible for the quality, legality, safety, authenticity or performance of goods sold by independent sellers, or for indirect losses arising from a third-party transaction.
12. Changes
These terms may be updated as marketplace features develop. The current version will be published on this page.
