Repair Business Terms

These terms apply to repair businesses, automotive specialists and other trade users that create or manage a business profile, receive repair opportunities or use MotorCircle trade features.

1. Business responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that your business information is accurate, lawful and kept up to date, including services, opening hours, contact information, service area, qualifications, insurance and any claims made about specialist capabilities.

2. MotorCircle’s role

MotorCircle is a platform shaped by practical automotive experience that helps users describe vehicle needs and identify potentially relevant businesses. Our team brings more than 35 years of combined hands-on automotive trade experience, but MotorCircle does not carry out the repair, guarantee a diagnosis, guarantee work quality or become a party to the repair contract between the customer and repair business unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. Leads and enquiries

Repair requests may contain information supplied by customers and information structured with AI-assisted tools. You must use your own professional judgement and carry out any inspection, diagnosis, estimate or safety assessment necessary before agreeing work.

You must not treat MotorCircle’s routing, categorisation or AI-assisted guidance as a confirmed diagnosis.

4. Customer information

Customer information supplied through MotorCircle must be used only for legitimate purposes connected with the relevant enquiry, repair, estimate or transaction. You must not use it for unrelated marketing or disclose it unnecessarily.

5. Paid membership and profile features

MotorCircle offers paid memberships with enhanced profile features and trade benefits that may include business logos, additional profile content, repair enquiries, Trade Buying Desk access, marketplace benefits and other member services. Features may vary by plan and will be shown with the relevant membership offer.

6. Availability and lead acceptance

If you indicate that your business is accepting work, available for urgent jobs, mobile or able to provide specific services, you must keep those settings reasonably accurate. MotorCircle may use these details when matching or presenting businesses to users.

7. Standards and conduct

You must act lawfully, professionally and fairly when using MotorCircle. You must not misrepresent qualifications, reviews, affiliations, prices or services, misuse customer data, submit misleading content, impersonate another business or use the platform for unlawful activity.

8. Listings and moderation

MotorCircle may review, edit, restrict, suspend or remove business profiles or content where reasonably necessary for accuracy, safety, legal compliance, platform integrity or enforcement of these terms.

9. Fees

Any membership, listing, lead, transaction or service fees will be shown before the relevant purchase or commitment. The current Founding Trade Membership is £24.95 per month for the first 12 successful monthly payments, then £39 per month from payment 13, and can be cancelled at any time. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable.

10. No guaranteed volume

MotorCircle does not guarantee a minimum number of enquiries, leads, bookings, sales or revenue from a listing, membership or other trade feature.

11. Intellectual property

You confirm that you have the right to upload and use logos, photographs, text and other content supplied to MotorCircle. You grant MotorCircle permission to display that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote your profile and the platform.

12. Suspension and termination

MotorCircle may restrict or terminate access where there is serious or repeated misuse, non-payment, unlawful conduct, security risk or breach of these terms. You may stop using the service subject to any applicable minimum term, notice period or outstanding payment obligation stated at purchase.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to applicable law, MotorCircle is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent customers, repairers, sellers or third parties, or for indirect losses arising from use of the platform.

14. Changes

We may update these terms as MotorCircle develops. Material changes affecting paid services will be communicated where reasonably required.
