Preservation
MotorCircle may preserve relevant Marketplace messages, order records, listing snapshots, payment references, account information and moderation records when reasonably required for fraud prevention, safeguarding, litigation, a dispute or a valid legal request.
Verification of requests
MotorCircle does not release account or message data merely because somebody asks for it. Requests from police, regulators or other authorities are checked for identity, authority, scope and lawful basis. MotorCircle can ask for clarification or formal process where appropriate.
Minimum necessary disclosure
Where disclosure is required or lawfully justified, MotorCircle provides the information reasonably necessary for the stated purpose and keeps an internal record of the request and response, subject to any legal restriction on doing so.
Emergency and safeguarding situations
Where there is a credible and urgent risk to life or safety, MotorCircle may act promptly and cooperate with the appropriate emergency or safeguarding authority in accordance with applicable law.
