This Cookie Policy explains how MotorCircle Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on motorcircle.co.uk.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a device when you visit a website. Some are necessary for the site to work, while others can help with preferences, analytics, security or other optional features.

2. Necessary cookies

MotorCircle uses strictly necessary cookies and similar browser storage for functions such as account login, security, session management, form handling, saved requests and temporary Agent conversation continuity. For example, the Agent can use session storage in your browser to keep the current conversation available during that browser session. These technologies are used only where needed for the service you request and do not normally require consent.

3. Optional cookies

Our current site audit has not identified active advertising or third-party visitor analytics tracking on the public MotorCircle pages reviewed. If MotorCircle introduces analytics, advertising, personalisation or other non-essential technologies later, they will not be activated before any consent required by UK privacy and electronic communications law is obtained.

4. Third-party services

Some MotorCircle features connect to third-party services even where they are not advertising or analytics cookies. The current site loads externally hosted font and icon assets from Google Fonts and Font Awesome. MotorCircle’s repairer directory uses OpenStreetMap map tiles, while postcode and place-name location searches may use Postcodes.io to convert the search into map coordinates. Stripe may use necessary cookies or similar technologies when a user enters a Stripe-hosted payment flow. These services may receive technical request information, and a location or postcode entered for map searching may be sent to Nominatim for geocoding.

5. Managing choices

There is currently no optional-cookie consent banner because the public pages reviewed do not currently use non-essential advertising or third-party visitor analytics tracking. If that changes, MotorCircle will add appropriate controls before those technologies are used. You can also block or delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings, although this may affect account, checkout or other requested features.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as MotorCircle develops or when our use of cookies changes. The current version will be published on this page.
