Refund and Returns Policy

Clear guidance for direct MotorCircle purchases and marketplace transactions, shaped by more than 35 years of combined hands-on automotive trade experience and a practical understanding of vehicle parts and repair supply.

Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains how refunds and returns may apply to purchases made directly from MotorCircle and to transactions involving independent sellers using MotorCircle marketplace features.

1. Direct purchases from MotorCircle

Where MotorCircle Ltd is the seller of a product or service, any statutory cancellation, refund or return rights that apply under UK law will be honoured. The exact rights can depend on whether the purchase is goods, digital content or a service and whether performance has already started.

2. Marketplace purchases

Where an item is sold by an independent marketplace seller, that seller is responsible for complying with any legal return, cancellation and refund obligations that apply to the transaction. Rights may differ depending on whether the seller is a business or a private seller.

3. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

If goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, contact the relevant seller promptly and keep evidence such as photographs, packaging and messages where appropriate. Statutory rights are not affected by this policy.

4. Vehicle parts

Because vehicle parts can be specification-sensitive, buyers should verify part numbers, vehicle compatibility and condition before purchase where reasonably possible. A compatibility mistake does not automatically remove statutory rights, but it may affect whether a discretionary return is available where the item itself is not faulty.

5. Memberships and platform services

Paid MotorCircle memberships can be cancelled at any time, and the recurring price and any future rate change are shown before subscription. Refund arrangements for memberships or other platform services remain subject to the applicable purchase terms and statutory rights. Where a statutory cooling-off right applies, MotorCircle will provide it. If a user asks for a service to begin during a cooling-off period, the amount refundable may be affected to the extent permitted by law.

6. How to request help

For a direct MotorCircle purchase or billing issue, email accounts@motorcircle.co.uk. For a marketplace transaction, contact the seller through the available MotorCircle communication route first. If additional platform support is needed, email support@motorcircle.co.uk.
